Mission and Vision

Why does ICL exist? To protect the very best of Idaho and work to influence conservation policy.

Mission

ICL works to protect Idaho's environment.

Vision

Keep Idaho Idaho. The Idaho Conservation League was founded around this phrase in 1973. It still reflects much of what we do.

ICL works to create an informed and engaged conservation majority in Idaho. We know that the values we hold are shared by many Idahoans, so we strive to be Idaho's leading voice for conservation. By building a robust conservation community, we hope to influence local, state and federal policies to ensure adequate protections for clean water, clean air, healthy families and Idaho's unique way of life.
