What Idaho Conservation League's mission and vision are

Mission

The Idaho Conservation League works to protect Idaho's environment.

Vision

Keep Idaho Idaho.  The Idaho Conservation League was founded around this phrase in 1973.  It still reflects much of what we do.

The phrase affirmatively suggests a suite of values that define Idaho, and ICL's record of protecting those values has made ICL Idaho's leading voice for conservation.

We live in a transformative time.  We are more mobile, and we get information, build community, and stay connected in rapidly evolving ways, all much different than our founders imagined.  The challenge for tomorrow is to build on our record of success, leverage the full extent of our organization's strengths, and embrace change as we focus on long-term goals, remain nimble to breaking opportunities, and work to inform, inspire, and empower new communities of conservationists prepared to Keep Idaho Idaho.
