Mission
The Idaho Conservation League is Idaho’s voice for clean water, clean air and wilderness—values that are the foundation to Idaho’s extraordinary quality of life.
Vision
From the rain-soaked cedars of the Selkirks to the canyons and sagebrush-steppe of the Owyhees, from the rivers and streams of the Salmon/Selway to the wildlands of the Greater Yellowstone, Idaho contains an incomparable legacy that must be protected. These outdoor values, valued by all Americans, are also complemented by clean air and water and other backyard values, providing foundation to our communities and creating a quality of life treasured by all who live here.
ICL is working toward a time when our citizens and leaders actively collaborate and fully engage the democratic process to protect the land, air and water of Idaho for our enjoyment and benefit today and for generations tomorrow.
