On the 100th day of the new administration, let’s join people across the nation in showing our elected representatives that we take climate change seriously.
Climate change threatens the Idaho we love and the world around us. The 2017 Idaho legislative session made it clear that our representatives don’t take climate change seriously. Let’s show them that Idahoans care about climate and clean air!
Bring your friends, families, neighbors, and your most colorful signs, banners and flags to help us build the climate community in North Idaho. The march will begin at Farmin Park and end at the Community Hall. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Dr. Gabrielle Dubendorfer will speak about common ground solutions to climate change. Her talk will take us on a journey around the globe and inspire hope for building bridges, political will, and change that leads to a livable world.
You can also visit booths for local organizations to see what they are doing to fight climate change locally and learn about how you can take action. And don’t miss the creative activities for kids and adults!
