Following ICL's recent legal victory over the Atlanta Gold mine, you're invited to learn more about the Atlanta Gold and the CuMo mega-mine on Wed, Jan 25 at the MK Nature Center from 7 to 8 pm.
Co-sponsored by ICL, Idaho Rivers United, the Sierra Club, and the Audobon Society, this event is an opportunity to learn about how we're working to protect Idaho's rivers and streams from mining pollution.
Kristin Ruether and Bryan Hurlbutt of Advocates for the West will join us to report on our Atlanta Gold case, as well as our current lawsuit against the Forest Service regarding Mosquito Gold's exploration activities. In addition, the event will feature a multimedia presentation of the proposed CuMo mega-mine in the Grimes Creek watershed.
The event will last an hour, with questions to follow. Refreshments will be provided.
