Gladiator Creek

Explore old pioneer cabins and prepare yourself for a steep climb on this mountain trail.

Note: Only hikers in good physical condition should attempt this hike. Sign in at the registration box and begin your hike. Walk through a small stream and follow the trail. At about ½ mile, there’s a fork in the road marked by a trail sign. The fork to the right leads to two old cabins you can explore if you would like. If not, continue the hike up the rocky canyon. The climb is very steep and ends at about 9800 feet.

Directions

From Ketchum, drive 25 miles northwest on highway 75 to the Galena Day Lodge parking area. From Galena Lodge, drive up Gladiator Creek Road for 2 miles. Here you will see the trailhead for the Gladiator trail.
