Why hike with ICL?
At ICL, we understand one simple, universal truth about hiking: People who play in wilderness, care about wilderness. By visiting Idaho's unique landscapes and wild, remote places, we develop lifelong relationships with the land itself.
As Idaho's leading voice for conservation, it has always been our goal to help our members get out and enjoy what's worth protecting.
Our summer hike series is a great way to learn more about our state, meet new people and get some fresh air. If you're new to town, interested in learning about hiking locations near you, or just hoping to find conservation-minded friends who like to get outside, come hike with us!
This summer, we have a great hiking season for both members and non-members. We offer hiking series from our North, Central, and South Idaho offices. So come join us, and put some miles on those boots!
Also, be sure to take your camera on every ICL hike and send us your best shots. In the fall, we'll throw a party to share our stories, reunite with friends we met along the trail, and watch a slideshow together.
