Our North Idaho Summer Hikes Have Been Cancelled.

Due to increased wildfire activity in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, the U.S. Forest Service is encouraging the public to avoid recreating in the Panhandle National Forest until fire conditions improve. This is to protect the public from the dozens of fires burning in the area and to avoid potential accidents with firefighting equipment on forest roads.

Our North Idaho office is therefore cancelling the remainder of our hikes planned for this summer. Our kayak outing on Lake Coeur d'Alene will continue and there are still a few more spots available on this excursion. Thanks for your cooperation. We will be back next year!

North Idaho is known for its rugged mountains, friendly mountain goats and stunning lakes.
