With spring a couple of months away and sunny days reminding us of the warmth to come, now is a great time to start planning your native garden.
Whether you're thinking about getting rid of a water-greedy lawn or just interested in something different, growing Idaho native plants can be rewarding.
Native gardens use less water and support local ecosystems. Idaho's insects like native plants, and Idaho's birds often like these tasty insects. You will likely have some interesting rewards from planting a native garden.
