Natural Gas Fees

This bill would increase the fee for a natural gas drill permit from $100 to $2,500.

Current bill status: Law

The natural gas industry should cover the costs to the state of administering the industry's permits. Currently the state does not have enough money to review and administer drill permits for natural gas. The current fee of $100 is not enough so we support the increase of up to $2,500.
