Open Space
How Idaho Conservation League works to protect open space in Idaho's communities
Idaho’s magnificent landscapes and wild places offer rich and fertile soils, diverse wildlife, dense forests, stunning mountain ranges and pristine waterways. Idahoans see history and heritage in these natural resources. From the rich cultures of Idaho’s Native American tribes to the farms and ranches of the homesteaders, the history of Idaho’s people is tightly connected to land.

The Idaho Conservation League works to protect a legacy of open space at the local and state level. Through our work, we hope to increase options for Idahoans who wish to preserve this heritage of open space for their children.
