WOLVES—Declares legislative support for a state of emergency on wolves.

Oppose
Held
This resolution finds that a state of emergency exists relating to wolves and that Idaho should use any legal means to reduce the number of wolves to 150. If Idaho wants to show responsible wolf management, this a not how to do it. Such resolutions further undermine the professionals at the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. In the end, the resolution only makes a person question Idaho's credible role in wildlife issues. We think the state should work at being responsible and respectable wildlife managers and avoid sending mixed signals.
