Spectacular Wildlife

How Idaho Conservation League protects Idaho wildlife like sage-grouse.

ICL is working to protect Idaho's wildlife and our current priority is Sage-Grouse because it is in peril due to factors like loss of habitat.

Idaho is a great place to watch wildlife. Idaho is home to over 1,000 species of wildlife, from grizzly bears to golden eagles, including almost every species that was here when Lewis and Clark passed through. Some wildlife, like wolverines, roam over large areas, while others, like the northern Idaho ground squirrels, live in only a few locations.
