Idaho’s signature species

Idaho’s list of state symbols includes iconic wildlife species such as mountain bluebird, peregrine falcon, cutthroat trout, monarch butterfly, and the most recent addition, the Idaho giant salamander. Many more of Idaho’s iconic wildlife — including grizzly bear, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, wolf, trumpeter swan, and more — fall under ICL’s watchful eye. The Idaho Conservation League’s work to protect clean water and intact habitat benefits all of Idaho’s wildlife.
