A one year review of accomplishments of the Owyhee Initiative Implementation Act of 2009Nearly one year ago President Obama signed the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009. That legislation designated 517,000 acres of Wilderness and 316 mile of Wild and Scenic Rivers and set in motion opportunities for the Owyhee Initiative Agreement to continue.
