On this week's edition of "Off the Trail," Boise State Radio's Adam Cotterell looks at one of Idaho's most controversial animals. But it's not the wolf.
This story covers some of the issues regarding wolf and elk management in Idaho. The folks interviewed in the story were part of a wolf ecology snowshoe hike offered by local outfitter, Sun Valley Trekking.
Participants included Idaho Department of Fish and Game staff Jerome Hansen and Magic Valley Regional Supervisor and Fish and Game predator biologist Hilary Coolie. Others included John Robison from the Idaho Conservation League, and Whitney Rearick with the Winter Wildlands Alliance.
