Green Waters, Red Flags: Toxic Algae Outbreaks in Idaho – Virtual

May 30 at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Toxic algae outbreaks continue to threaten public health across Idaho. Every summer, we see dozens of health advisories issued because the water is unsafe for pets, livestock, and people.

Join Dr. Amie Parris of the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and Josh Johnson of ICL for a presentation on toxic algae outbreaks: what causes them, what the risks are, how you can stay safe this summer, and what we’re doing to help. Toxic Algae affects waterways and Idahoans all over the state, so make sure to tune in! REGISTER HERE!
