Today we are working on building a better conservation community with you!
We want to give YOU, our members, volunteers and supporters, the tools and knowledge to become your own best advocate. You will learn all about specific opportunities that we really need your help with so you’re ready to engage in activism parallel to ICL, echoing our objectives and using your own voice and story. By volunteering to be an ICL advocate, you will gain the experience and know-how to write your own letters to the editor or personal comments to state and federal agencies, and give public testimony when appropriate.
Join us on for our advocate training every two months. This month we will focus on Idaho’s water.
Marie Kellner, ICL’s water associate, will explain several issues that affect Idaho’s water right now. As part of this training, you will walk away with the tools and knowledge to play a part in affecting the decision-making process, make your voice heard and be your own best advocate — whether that means calling your representative, writing a letter or being the smartest person at your next dinner party!
RSVPs appreciated, but not required. For more information contact Lana or sign up here.
