***THIS EVENT HAS TWO DIFFERENT SHOW TIMES: 3 pm AND 6 pm***
The Idaho Conservation League, Kaniksu Land Trust and The American Heritage Wildlife Foundation are hosting a unique wildlife photography event. Wild Creatures I Have Known will highlight a retrospective of selected past-to-present images of professional wildlife and nature photographer, Jerry Ferrara’s, work and anecdotes from the field.
For more than forty years, Ferrara, has explored the environment with a camera and lens. Thirty of those years were spent in conjunction with a career in editorial and stock picture photography and writing. His photos have been published in numerous media both nationally and internationally including: Audubon, BBC Wildlife, Canadian Geographic, GEO (German), International Wildlife, National Geographic, National Wildlife, Natural History, Ranger Rick and The World Wildlife Fund publications.
Ten years ago Ferrara changed his business direction and began working exclusively with his film image bank, as well as digital captures, to produce fine-art photographic prints. Check out his incredible work on his website and at Cedar Glen Gallery, which is located at 300 North First Avenue, Suite 1, in downtown Sandpoint.
This event will take place on Feb. 22, 2019 with two showings: 3 pm and 6 pm at the Little Panida Theater. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased online through the “Register” button below.
