Quench your thirst for knowledge at this month’s Science Pub on transportation in the Treasure Valley! We’ll discuss transportation ideas being proposed to keep people moving safely and efficiently throughout the Treasure Valley — and what needs to be done now to make them a reality in the future.
The Treasure Valley is one of the fastest growing regions in the country. We’re already seeing the growing pains that accompany this, and growth likely won’t stop any time soon. Now is the time to discuss issues such as where people will live and how they will get around the valley. An increasing population doesn’t just mean more traffic though. Each vehicle stuck in traffic is also contributing harmful pollutants that impact our air quality. The good news is that the Treasure Valley’s future doesn’t have to include traffic-clogged mega-highways!
Join ICL’ s own conservation associate, Austin Hopkins, to learn what you need to know, what you need to do, and what’s in store for Treasure Valley’s transportation. Of course, you can also enjoy a local craft brew and chat with others in our conservation community.
