Rep. Sage G. Dixon (R-Ponderay) introduced House Bill 87 which would restrict the expenditure of dollars from the Idaho Transportation Department’s Congestion Mitigation Program.

The bill is related to HB 50 and HB 55, which together seek to limit the public expenditure of public transportation dollars on improvements for pedestrians and cyclists. HB 87 could also limit funding available for mass transit and other efforts to reduce congestion associated with increased growth.
