Bruneau Sand Dunes

The Bruneau Sand Dunes are one of  Idaho’s most interesting geological feature, rising over 450 ft. Visitors to  the park can climb the dunes, hike the park trails, ride horses, or swim and boat  on one of Bruneau’s two lakes. The park also features several campsites, two  cabins that are available for rent, an education center, and one of only two  public observatories in Idaho! Whether you are looking to get out and enjoy  Idaho’s majestic landscape or learn about Idaho’s heritage, Bruneau Dunes State  Park has it all.

Directions:
From Mountain Home or Boise, follow I-84, take Exit 95 and travel south on Hwy 51 approximately  15 miles. turn east onto Hwy 78 and travel about 4 miles to the park.
