Abbie Abramovich
Salmon Campaign Grassroots Coordinator

Originally from Boise, Abbie grew up skiing and rafting throughout Idaho with her family. She attended Western Washington University earning a B.S. in Environmental Science focused on salmon ecology and sustainable agriculture. After graduating, Abbie held various fisheries positions throughout the Pacific Northwest including restoring critical salmon habitat and collecting otoliths and DNA tissue for a hatchery-wild study in Alaska. Abbie also completed a year of Americorps as the Food Access Coordinator with the Pike Place Market Foundation, connecting vulnerable populations with local farmers. Passionate about free-flowing rivers and salmon recovery, she has been working with American Rivers for the past year as a Snake River Restoration Intern, providing research and building support for the removal of the four lower Snake River dams.
Abbie has also won a world championship and national championship in ultimate frisbee. When she’s not playing ultimate, you can find Abbie backcountry skiing, hiking, biking, and playing with her pup, Cedar.
