Stevie Gawryluk

Community Engagement Assistant

Stevie grew up in the mountains of Southern California where she spent much of her youth and adolescence exploring the yellow pine forests, chaparral and oak woodlands, and beautiful mountains that surrounded her. This upbringing created a passionate fire within her for the natural world and most importantly – conservation.

She studied political science at California State University and then attended the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland where she received her M.Sc. in Equality and Human Rights. Through her studies, she developed a love for advocacy and activism.

Stevie and her partner, Andrew, moved to Idaho in 2019 after having lived in 6 states across the Mountain West. Stevie knew that moving to Idaho would allow her to fulfill her environmental ambitions on Idaho’s expansive public lands and waterways.

When not creating a voice for conservation you can find Stevie backpacking, hunting, fishing, and traveling through the bountiful ecosystems we have here in Idaho. She also has extensive volunteer experiences in environmental and social issues, and is currently an ambassador for Artemis Sportswomen.
